Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to the most common questions about Operation Veterans Edge, our process, available services, and what to expect before getting started.

Is Operation Veterans Edge Free?

No. Operation Veterans Edge is a premium service designed for veterans who want a faster, more structured, and more personalized approach to navigating the VA disability claims process.

While there are many free resources available, many veterans find themselves spending months—or even years—trying to determine what evidence is needed, what conditions may qualify, and how to properly organize their claim. Our program is designed to help simplify that process through one-on-one coaching, expert guidance, and proven systems.

Pricing varies based on your state and available service options. Speak with a Veteran Success Coach today to learn what options are available where you live.

How Does Operation Veterans Edge Work?

You’ll be paired with a dedicated Veteran Success Coach who works with you from your initial consultation through claim submission.

Your coach helps you understand your options, identify potential service-connected conditions, review your evidence, stay organized, and develop a personalized roadmap for your claim. Throughout the process, you’ll have a single point of contact who helps ensure you always know what comes next.

Do You Provide Nexus Letters, DBQs, or Diagnoses?

Operation Veterans Edge does not directly provide nexus letters, DBQs, diagnoses, or medical opinions.

Every veteran receives a complimentary Medical Summary from an independent medical provider within our preferred medical network—a $300 value provided at no cost.

This review helps identify what evidence you already have, potential gaps in your claim, and available options to strengthen your case. Whenever possible, we help veterans identify free solutions first. For veterans who prefer a faster or more comprehensive approach, premium medical services may also be available through our preferred provider network.

Do You File My Claim For Me?

No.

To remain compliant with VA requirements, veterans ultimately make the final decisions and submit their own claims.

However, once you’re ready, we provide complimentary (FREE) access to a preferred third-party claim review and submission service. This independent service helps ensure your completed claim package is organized, reviewed for completeness, and ready for submission before you authorize it.

Do You Build My Claim For Me?

Not exactly, but yes practically—and that’s by design.

You remain in control of every decision throughout the process.

Our role is to simplify what can often feel overwhelming. We help identify what evidence may be relevant, explain available options, organize information, and make the process easier to understand. You decide what information is included and approve every step along the way.

Most veterans are surprised by how straightforward the process becomes once they understand what the VA is actually looking for.

Do You Represent Me Before the VA?

No.

Operation Veterans Edge does not represent veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The good news is that most veterans never need formal representation. For the small percentage of veterans who may benefit from accredited representation, we can provide a warm handoff to trusted third-party partners when appropriate.

Why Wouldn’t I Just Do This Myself?

You absolutely can.

Many veterans successfully file claims on their own after multiple attempts and a few possible failures.

Many veterans also spend significant time trying to understand regulations, evidence requirements, medical documentation, and claim strategy. Our program is designed for veterans who want experienced guidance, a clear roadmap, and one-on-one support throughout the process.

How Is Operation Veterans Edge Different From Other Companies?

Most services focus on selling medical evidence.

We focus on helping veterans understand their options, identify what evidence may already exist, determine what is actually needed, and develop a strategy tailored to their situation.

Our goal is to help veterans make informed decisions—not purchase services they may not need.

What If I’ve Already Filed, Been Denied, or Received a Lower Rating Than Expected?

Many veterans come to us after receiving an unfavorable decision.

Whether you’re filing for the first time, seeking an increase, considering a supplemental claim, or evaluating next steps after a denial, a Veteran Success Coach can help review your situation and discuss available options.

Do I Need To Purchase Medical Evidence?

Not necessarily.

Many veterans already possess stronger evidence than they realize.

That’s one reason every veteran receives a complimentary Medical Summary. We help identify what evidence already exists before discussing additional options. If more evidence may be beneficial, we’ll help you understand both free and premium paths available to you.

Is Operation Veterans Edge Available In My State?

You’ll meet with a Veteran Success Coach who will learn more about your military service, medical history, and goals.

Together, you’ll discuss your situation, review available options, answer your questions, and determine whether Operation Veterans Edge is a good fit for your needs.

Is Everyone Approved to Use Operation Veterans Edge?

No.

Operation Veterans Edge is not the right fit for every veteran, and we’ll tell you that upfront.

During your consultation, we’ll review your situation and determine whether our program is likely to provide value. In some cases, veterans may already have everything they need to move forward on their own, qualify for free resources, or benefit from a different type of assistance.

If we believe another path is better for your situation, we’ll point you in that direction. Our goal is to help veterans make informed decisions—not sell services they don’t need.
